JINGLE COMPETITION
The International Year of Cooperatives (IYC) 2025, Planning Committee along with the Cooperative Department is inviting persons to enter the Co-op Jingle Competition.
RULES:

The Co-op Jingle should be no longer than 60 seconds and must be suitable for television and/or radio use.

The Jingle must promote the theme “Cooperatives in Barbados” as we celebrate 100 years of the Cooperative movement worldwide.

Co-op Members and residents of Barbados who have talent are eligible to enter: Schools, Groups, Entertainers, and Individuals. Members of the planning committee and their families are not eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER

Email your entry in MP3 audio format to barbadoscoops2@gmail.com with the SUBJECT: “IYC 2025 Jingle Competition” or submit your entry using the entry form provided.

Each entry MUST be labeled with your: Name, and Contact Information.
The deadline for submission is midnight June 15, 2025. Persons may be asked to perform their jingle.

JUDGING
The winning jingles will be selected by a distinguished panel of judges who will use the following criteria:

Lyrical Content (25 pts)

Melody (15 pts)

Incorporation of Key Messages (15 pts)

Delivery (25 pts)

Jingle Impact (15 pts)

Length of Jingle (5 pts)
The winning entry will become the property of the Barbados Cooperative Business Association Ltd, for use in the celebration of the 2025 International Year of Cooperatives.
